#84

Uncle and Aunty H live in #84. Uncle is a retired doctor. He's 6 feet, fair and 80+(age). Still rides his own bike and goes all around the countryside collecting wood and what not. Once a year he goes into the interiors of Nepal for fishing and gives away free medicines to the villagers around. He once reared a leopard cub to maturity and then gave it away to the zoo. I always liked listening to uncle and his stories. He has a bunch of them. He stays with his wife and daughter, while his son stays abroad. Aunty H is not very welcoming. She and her daughter drive to the city almost everyday for sundry jobs or shopping. Mother daughter are inseparable, even at social gatherings. Infact when the daughter goes to work (she works as a drama teacher at an international school) her mother accompanies her and stays there for the entire duration of her work. So, uncle is very het up in the last few days because aunty and daughter spent some 4lacs from his account. He is trying to find solace ...

#71

New people have moved into #71. Mother daughter duo. Drinking and partying type. Mother was a muslim, converted to hinduism to marry the man of her choice and after he abandoned her, raised their daughter singlehandedly. Kudos! I would give her five stars. But the society is unforgiving. Judged for being single, judged for keeping late nights, judged for entertaining strange men. lets see how well they fare.

Foreword

VV P2 is a small colony of people. On the surface, they live harmoniously, without any squabbles and hardly any antagonism. What is interesting though is the undercurrents that sweep through this apparently stable pond. A brilliant pastiche of myriad hues that make up the fabric of society.Irrespective of class. So here goes.Judge and be judged.
